Trust is central to Aulivar. Aulivar is being designed for serious personal, professional, and organisational use. That means security, privacy, data protection, and governance cannot be treated as afterthoughts. They are core to how the platform is shaped, how information is handled, and how users should be able to rely on the system.
Our Approach: Aulivar is built around the principle that useful intelligence must also be responsible intelligence. The platform is intended to help people think, learn, remember, analyse, and make decisions, while maintaining appropriate safeguards around personal information, organisational knowledge, sensitive discussions, and generated outputs.
Our approach is based on four priorities:
• Protecting user and organisational information
• Reducing unnecessary exposure of sensitive data
• Maintaining clear boundaries between personal and business contexts
• Supporting accountable, explainable, and auditable use of AI-generated outputs
Privacy By Design: Aulivar is being developed with privacy built into its operating model. Where possible, the system should avoid collecting more information than is needed, separate different categories of information, and ensure that users understand how their data is being used. Personal memory, business knowledge, transcripts, structured outputs, and research materials should be handled with clear purpose and appropriate controls.
Data Minimisation: Aulivar's design philosophy is to avoid unnecessary data retention. Information should be captured and retained only where it supports a clear user benefit, such as continuity, recall, structured reporting, decision support, or knowledge preservation. Where information is no longer useful, appropriate deletion or retention controls should be available.
Encryption & Access Control: Aulivar is intended to use appropriate technical safeguards to protect information in storage and in transit. Access to personal or organisational information should be controlled, limited, and governed by user permissions, identity, and role-based access where appropriate. For organisational use, this may include controls around authorised users, administrative permissions, and separation of workspaces or knowledge areas.
De-identification & Sensitive Information: Where appropriate, Aulivar may use de-identification or data reduction techniques to limit unnecessary exposure of personal or sensitive information. This is particularly important where transcripts, meeting records, research outputs, or organisational materials are converted into structured summaries, reports, recommendations, or reusable knowledge assets.
Personal And Business Separation: Aulivar recognises that personal and business information are different. A personal knowledge system should not casually blend with organisational memory, and business information should not be treated as personal context without clear boundaries. The platform is therefore being shaped around separation of contexts, so that information is used for the right purpose, in the right setting, with the right controls.
Responsible AI Use: Aulivar is designed to support human judgement, not bypass it. AI-generated analysis, recommendations, summaries, and research outputs should be treated as decision-support materials. Important decisions should remain subject to human review, appropriate challenge, and verification. Aulivar's role is to improve clarity, structure, continuity, and challenge. It should help users think better, not encourage blind reliance on automated output.
Auditability & Structured Outputs: Where Aulivar generates structured research, recommendations, meeting outputs, or decision-support materials, the aim is to make outputs traceable, reviewable, and capable of challenge. This includes improving clarity around the original request, refined structured request, reasoning path, evidence use, assumptions, limitations, and any areas requiring further review.
Organisational Governance: For business use, Aulivar should support sensible governance. This may include clear usage policies, user permissions, retention rules, quality review, evidence standards, output review processes, and guidance on appropriate use cases. The aim is to make Aulivar useful in real organisational environments where accountability matters.
Continuous Improvement: Security, privacy, and governance are not one-time tasks. As Aulivar develops, its safeguards, policies, and controls will continue to evolve in line with user needs, regulatory expectations, technical capability, and responsible AI practice.
